Messianic Revival, What is it?
We believe that the key to the next wave of revival is linked to His true Church's receiving of Jesus as Yeshua, our Jewish Messiah, and seeking to understand our Hebrew Roots in Yeshua. This includes a deeper understanding of the prophetic significance of the Jewish Feasts, and the Torah which can be taken to mean "the teaching and instruction of God" which includes the entire Bible, from a Hebrew vs. Greek-Roman understanding. It must also have a deeper understanding of Jesus' (Yeshua's) view of the Torah, and how it was to be lived out, and his often strong dislike for the way that they had set aside God's teachings, by their "traditions of the Elders".
We also believe that this revival will have a strong emphasis on Davidic Worship, the raising up of the Tabernacle of David, with Yeshua as our Great High Priest in heavenly places, ever interceding on our behalf. He is the "Root and Offspring of David, and the Bright and Morning Star" Rev. 22:16
Messianic Congregational Ideals
1) Worship and honor the Lord in a Hebraic Way.
Heavenly emphasis vs. focus on earthly issues and "applications of the principles of God" without the Heavenly relationship.
Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Psalms 149:3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
Psalms 150:4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
Jeremiah 31:13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
2) Encourage and provoke one another to love and good works in a mature, biblical, and Hebraic community way.
John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
1 Timothy 2:8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
Colossians 3:14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
I Corinthians 12
3) To maintain an outreach to unbelievers, with an emphasis on ministry to people of Jewish background.
a) Showing due love, honor, and respect for the Jewish community even when they reject the message of Yeshua as Messiah.
